Autumn Colour Palettes
It’s that time of year again! Summer has ended, kids are back to school, evenings are slowly getting darker, and Christmas is starting to rear its head!
Even if autumn isn’t your favourite season, there is no denying the beauty of autumnal colours. From vibrant oranges and reds to rich browns and earthy greens.
Whether your prepared or panicked for this season, here at HoM we’ve decided to put together a handful of autumnal colour palettes inspired by our favourite mosaics to kickstart your next renovation project.
Dylan Mosaic - Industrial Inspiration
Dylan is a combination of natural stone bricks and industrial copper effect glass pieces. Dylan features a beautiful deep rich brown shade which is balanced out by the mix of lighter toned grey and off-white pieces.
The industrial copper effect also adds dimension to the rich brown shade providing individuality and uniqueness to each piece.
The complimentary colour palette for Dylan includes: an off-white shade, a light brown oatmeal colour, a rich orangey-red brown shade called Savana, and a classic deep Mocha tone.
Mocha is also inspired by Pantone’s Autumn/Winter 2022 Chicory Coffee shade from the London Colour Palette, so you will be bang on trend this season!
Use Dylan to complement other wood tones in a room to complete the autumnal feel.

Lisbon - Perfect Pattern
Lisbon is inspired by historical Portuguese tile designs, finished in an encaustic matt effect. This mosaic has a geometric pattern in taupe, cream and blue tones which looks great combined with cream or grey larger format tiles.
Lisbon will add a little something extra to any room with thanks to the intricate geometric pattern. Keep the colour palette simple but use Lisbon as a border, horizontally or vertically in between larger format tiles, or create a feature wall or zoned area for extra visual interest.
The complementary colour palette for Lisbon includes: a Warm White base shade, a light brown Almond colour, a deeper Pecan colour, and a delicious Cacao shade.
The complementary shade Pecan is inspired by Pantone’s Autumn/Winter 2022 Core Classic, Iced Coffee.

Cannes Bronze Luxe - Antique Accent
Inspired by bronzed antique mirror effect glass, the Cannes Bronze Luxe mosaic offers the perfect vintage charm with a contemporary twist. Natural light is reflected from the linear glass pieces, adding a bronzed warmth to any room. A timeless, luxury classic.
Pulling from cooler autumnal tones, Cannes Bronze pairs perfectly with a ‘Dark Autumn’ colour palette. This colour palette falls into the cool Winter tones whilst keeping hints of warmer autumnal shades.
The complementary colour palette for Cannes Bronze Luxe includes: a crisp Cloud white, a brown Elephant colour, a cool grey Ash shade, and a simple dark Deep Umber tone.
The shade Ash within the complementary colour palette draws inspiration from Pantone’s Autumn / Winter 2022 Core Classics colour Quiet Shade. This is described as an unobtrusive and sturdy grey tone.
The antique effect mirror glass pieces of Cannes Bronze adds visual interest to any room which can be left as the main focus, or elevated with additional interior decorations.

Abu Dhabi Bronze uses micro squares of brushed bronze effect pieces, which will give a contemporary, on-trend look to your wall.
The complementary colour palette for Abu Dhabi Bronze Self-Adhesive includes: a light Sand colour, a mid-brown Pecan shade, a red-brown Mahogany tone, and a deep espresso Coffee colour.
